跬步成长(Staggered
Advancement)
每当获得一个新等级时,人物似乎经常一夜间就得到了新的能力和力量。下面的升级变体允许你给你的人物成长进程中增加一些真实性。
取代在升级时一次获得所有的新能力,你把升级的过程划分成四个XP阶段:25%,
50%, 75% 和 100%。每个XP阶段需要的XP等同于你升级需要的XP的特定比例。
使用跬步成长(Using Staggered
Advancement)
首先,选择新的职业等级。在作出下文所述的调整之前,你必须有资格获得对应的新等级。每当你到达一个新的XP阶段,你获得适当的该职业通用技能和技能等级,详见表:跬步成长。你的专长、属性值、法术级数都保持不变。
职业特性:人物在完成该职业升级(100%)时获得全部该等级职业特性。
技能点:决定你选择的职业升级将获得的技能点的总数字,然后将它减半(向下取整),在XP阶段50%时,你获得这些技能点。当你完成该职业升级(100%)时,获得剩下的技能点。
通用能力:通用能力包括你选择职业的基础攻击加值(BAB)、生命值(HP)和豁免加值。当你达到25%,
50%和75%
的XP阶段时,你可选择下列选项其一。
基础攻击加值(BAB):提升你选择的职业的基础攻击加值(BAB),如果适用的话。
生命值(HP):决定你选择的职业升级将获得的生命值(HP),然后将它减半(向下取整),将这个数值加到你的最大生命值(HP)上。当你完成该职业升级(100%)时,获得剩下的生命值。
豁免加值:提升你选择的职业的豁免加值,如果适用的话。
上面通用能力的每个选项都只能被选择一次。此外,有些职业的基础攻击加值(BAB)和豁免加值不会在每次升级时都获得提升。如果仅有一个通用能力是可选择的,那么你只能在XP阶段75%选择它。如果仅有两个通用能力是可选择的,那么你可以在XP阶段50%选择一个,在XP阶段75%选择另一个。
下面的表格假定你正在使用中速XP进度。如果你使用快速或者慢速XP进度,可使用这个表格作为模型推断各个XP阶层需要的XP数值。
